FLOWER CARE:

GroovyRuby's floral tributes can last for up to 3 months in outside weather conditions. We only use the highest quality of flowers. Adverse weather conditions, i.e. heavy rain, or continuous bright sunshine however, can affect deterioration sooner. We recommend therefore that arrangements be renewed every 3-6 months to keep memorials looking bright and fresh. 

Because of the components of our tributes, artificial flowers are lighter than most arrangements. We recommend making them more secure outside. Small gravel can be added to the bases to weigh the tributes down for items with dishes. For items with foam bases we advise that wire pegs be pushed through them and the underneath ground to secure them. These extra items for securing your tributes are NOT provided.

Disclaimer: Teddys/bears etc are attached by a wooden dowel with a sharp point running up the centre of them and they are attached through the base of the tribute. Please handle safely and carefully if removing the bear to avoid injury.

How long does delivery of my items take?

Delivery dispatched up to 5 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).  

Please enquire if needed sooner. 

Dispatch: Monday - Thursday. 

 

What are your flowers made of?

All our flowers are made of realistic looking artificial foam, silk and artificial foliage. 

Disclaimer: Teddys/bears etc are attached by a wooden dowel with a sharp point running up the centre of them and they are attached through the base of the tribute. Please handle safely and carefully if removing the bear to avoid injury. 

PLEASE NOTE: Dowels, pins, sharp objects etc - Please be aware supervision will be required for anyone under 18. We will not be responsible for any injuries caused. 

Anyone ordering products from our website will be deemed to be at least 18. 

  

How do I pay for my order?

We accept all major debit and credit cards, all other payment options offered are available to view at the checkout stage.  

   

How much does it cost to post my order?

Free UK delivery on orders over £19.99. 

  

How are my items posted?

Items are boxed and neatly packed with protective tissue, keeping our packaging as environmentally conscious as possible. We clearly label the boxes alerting DPD to its fragile contents. 

  

What size are your tributes?

You can find all the measurement information next to the item and reading the description listed. We list our measurements in inches. Round measurements are listed in the diameter (side to side). All floral tributes are measured over the dome of the roses, not the back or side of the tributes. All sizes are approximate - not exact - there may be slight differences due to stock changes out of our control. All our items are sent as per illustration and size stated. 

 

Will my flowers look exactly like the picture shown?

Sometimes due to stock change and availability out of our control we will use flowers as close to the ones advertised as possible resulting in slight differences - but we assure you the quality will be kept the same and at a high standard. Please note the colours may vary slightly due to the light while photographing. There also may be slight blemishes on the flowers which are produced at the point of manufacturing which is completely out of our control. 

  

How do I cancel my order?

If you've not yet received your flowers and you decide you would like to cancel them or even just a part of the order, please get in touch with one of our team as soon as possible. 

All correspondence needs to be in writing between us and the named buyer only, this is to protect both parties, following GDPR law and to ultimately prevent fraud.

 

Sales & Discounts?

Prices are agreed at time of checkout. No partial refunds will be given under any circumstances if any promotional offers are applied after your purchase. Just as we wouldn't invoice you if stock prices increase. 

 

Returns Policy

We advise to please select your tributes carefully. GroovyRuby only offers refunds if the item arrives faulty or damaged. We request photographic evidence immediately after delivery. Please contact us for more information. 

 

I have not received my order?

All items require proof of postage, DPD generally do not ask you to sign for your parcel, they take photos of the parcels in your open doorway as proof that they have been delivered. If you have not received your order in the time stated please contact DPD referencing your tracking number you would have received when dispatched. If for any reason your parcel does not turn up after the allocated time, we would need hard copy evidence from DPD that the order is missing. All correspondence needs to be in writing between us and the named buyer only, this is to protect both parties, following GDPR law and to ultimately prevent fraud. If DPD are claiming the order has been delivered - you yourself will have to make a claim, as going forward there is nothing we can then do - as our obligation is complete. 

 

There are items missing from my order? 

Claims for shortages on goods MUST be made within 1 working days on receiving the order. Claims for shortages will not be accepted after this time frame.

 

My items have been damaged in transit?

If your items by any chance arrive damaged via DPD please contact us within 1 working days of receiving the order with photographic evidence of the damage. If the parcel arrives severely damaged - we strongly advise to refuse delivery and let us know immediately so we can rectify the problem quick and swiftly. 

 

How do we get in touch with you? 

By email or instant messenger only. This is to protect both parties and have hardcopies of all communication for us both. We please ask all correspondence to be with the named buyer only to follow GDPR law. We also politely ask you to treat all our staff with respect. Aggressive, rude, offensive, disrespectful and inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and we have the right to refuse service and keep communication to an absolute necessary if this instance occurs.
